Questar understands the urgency that employers have to build highly effective leaders. One of the most common tools used to develop leadership skills is a 360/multi-rater feedback process. When done correctly, this approach can provide information to leaders on specific dimensions of leadership skills that are relevant to success in your organization. Once feedback is gathered, it drives an on-going development process that builds skills and can be measured for its effectiveness. Employees report the process to be fun and challenging while helping prepare them for higher levels of responsibility.

Our own research shows that engagement is roughly twice as predictive of employees' intent to leave as job satisfaction alone.

Additionally, direct exit surveys of departing employees are a great way to identify specific issues in the work environment that can precipitate turnover. Questar's Exit Survey is based on 40 years of published research on causes of turnover and intentions to quit, as well as our own research on the causes of turnover. It also is linked to QS.EngageTM. You can determine why employees are leaving, and then use the engagement survey to track perceptions about those causes and - most importantly - make the improvements that matter.

Union Vulnerability Assessment

To help organizations better understand their level of vulnerability, Questar has conducted an extensive national study across various industries in order to identify the key factors influencing employee decisions to unionize. Results from that study have been used to develop a survey that provides targeted results-oriented recommendations. We call this our Union Vulnerability Index.

Making efforts to attenuate these problems has also been shown to decrease the need for third party help and to decrease the likelihood that employees will want to organize.
