ASP.NET Web Developer / Software Engineer

We need an ASP.NET developer with strong SQL skills and solid experience developing web applications.  The ideal candidate possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a project team in a fast-paced development environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Development of web based software applications using ASP.NET technologies in an Agile environment
• Development of SQL and Stored Procedures that support reporting applications (web and static)
• Work with analysts and client services teams to understand and implement business rules
• Unit testing of developed code
• Code reviews and documentation

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related technical field
• 4 or more years in-depth experience developing ASP.NET web applications
• 4 or more years in-depth experience developing applications using Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong background in:
• VB.NET / C#
• HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Web Services
• Visual Studio
• Visual SourceSafe
• SQL and Stored Procedures
• Experience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum or similar).
• Ability to work independently or as a strong team player on a project team
• Self-motivated with a flexible and positive attitude
• Microsoft Certification (“Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications” or similar), Microsoft Patterns / Best Practices a plus
